Ledgewood Baptist has a strong youth ministry.  During the school year we have meetings every Thursday night at 5:30 p.m.  The evening begins with a free meal (nothing fancy) and then we break up into Beelievers (young kids), God's Adventure Team (grade school) and Junior and Senior BYF (Baptist Youth Fellowship).

A busy youth group is a happy youth group so we have many activities throughout the year.  All of them are undergirded by Bible study and Christian teaching.

    Speaking at the community Baccalaureate service.



     

    Sleepovers are always a big hit.
    An annual Formal Dinner with all the fixings.

     

     

    Sleepovers are not complete without bowling.

     

  • Annual Outings

    Over the years we have built up a tradition of special places to visit, including Hacklebarney Park in the autumn, Manhattan at Christmas, and Knoebel's Amusement Park in the spring.
     

  • Ski Retreat

    Every winter we take the BYF to Spruce Lake for a Winter-Ski Retreat.  We do more Bible study than skiing, what with global warming and all, and everyone has a great time.

  • Creation Music Festival

    Every June we set up our tents at the Creation Christian music festival in Mt. Union, Pennsylvania.  It is an event-filled week of Christian bands, inspiring speakers, and flirting with other campers.  Many of our young people have made spiritual decisions for Christ at this festival.
