How To Download the SID Sermon Illustration Mega-Database
Follow this order to produce a complete SID Kerux database:
1. Download and install the main file:
SID_Setup.exe
If you use the 64-bit version of Microsoft Vista, you will have problems running SID because it is 32-bit software. You can work around this by clicking Start Menu, choosing RUN, and pasting in this (assuming this is where you have SID installed): CoreFlags.exe C:\Program Files\Kerux Sermon Materials\SID.exe /32BIT+
2. Download and unzip this illustration file.
Install it by opening the SID database above and clicking on the "Import" icon
on the main page (screen
shot is here). Browse to find this

Kerux_illustration_set_complete.zip
If you have a slow internet connection, you can load the complete set in these four smaller sets instead:
a. Kerux_illustration_set_1.zip
b. Kerux_illustration_set_2.zip
3. Download and unzip these sermon files. Install them by opening the SID database above and clicking on the
"Import" icon on the main page (screen
shot is here). Browse to find and select each
file. (screen
shot is here) (Why are there so many sets? My internet
host puts a 10 megabyte limit on the size of each file.)
Your SID mega-database should
now be complete. It should contain approximately 34,000 illustrations and
23,000 sermons.
