The Flash Screen is the form with the image of an open Bible that pops up momentarily when you start the database, or when you click the About Kerux button. It contains version information, date of production and the copyright notice.
If the flash screen stays open, click it once with your mouse and it should disappear. If it doesn't disappear you could have big troubles.
