II. Entering a committed covenant.                    Exod 24:7-13

      A. God is our witness.                           Deut 30:19

III. Spiritual commitment.

      A. Walking in love.                              2 John 1:6


      B. Seeking to promote the church.                Mal 3:8-10; Heb 10:25

IV. Moral commitment.

      A. Watching how we live with outsiders.          Col 4:5; 1 Th 4:12


      B. Setting example in justice and faithfulness.  Matt 23:23


      C. Refraining from cutting people down.          Gal 5:14-15


      D. Striving to encourage people up.              Eph 4:29


      E. Our body as God's temple.                     1 Cor 3:16f; 6:19-20


  V. Fellowship commitment.

      A. Watching over one another.                    Heb 13:17


      B. Cultivating Christian virtues.                Jam 5:13-20; 1 Pet 3:8; 2 Pet

         1:5-8


      C. The importance of reconciliation.             Matt 5:23-25; 2 Cor 5:18-20


VI. Current commitment.

      A. We are committed where we are, or will be.    Rom 16:1-2; 1 Cor 7:17-24
