Kerux sermon and illustration databases

    Free sermons and illustration databases designed especially for Evangelical Christian workers

    The Kerux database is available in a mega-database which contains everything on this page in a single file, in both SID and Access2002 and Access2010 (Kerux2010) formats.

    All users should download illustration and sermon supplements that are more recent than their main collection.  Hundreds of duplicates have been identified and replaced through these supplements, and new material is added all the time.  Do not add supplements that are older than what you already have, or you will end up with obsolete records!  To establish the date of your database, sort the records by "date entered", ignoring the records you have added yourself.  Then find the supplements below that are more recent that the newest date in your database.

    For Kerux2010, unzip this file, launch your program, then go to Main Menu (Home) and click Maintenance > Import Resources.  Browse to select this file.  2018 and 2019 versions of the database have a broken index.  I recommend upgrading to the current megadatabase for Kerux2010.

    For Access2002, first download the new unzip this file, launch your program, then go to Main Menu (Home) and click Maintenance > Import Resources.  Browse to select this file.

    online at Hostinger web host    		 The SID supplement contained an error that disabled the importing of illustrations.  It is fixed now.  I thank Sean from California for pointing out the problem - which was online for ONE YEAR.  Anytime something doesn't work correctly, please let me know.

    For SID, unzip this file, launch SID, then click the IMPORT icon.  Browse to select this file and the records will be added to your database.

    For Kerux2010, unzip this file, launch your program, then go to Main Menu (Home) and click Maintenance > Import Resources.  Browse to select this file.  If the import process fails, it may be due to a interior version discrepancy (it should be 10.10 whereas past databases were 10.00).  If the import fails or no 2019 illustrations appear in your database, please let me know by emailing me at dholwick@gmail.com.

    For Access2002, first download the new unzip this file, launch your program, then go to Main Menu (Home) and click Maintenance > Import Resources.  Browse to select this file.

    (The SID supplement requires upgrading to SID 4.0.7 which can be downloaded here.)

    Note: if you choose to "update topics" in SID it can take a very long time - an hour or more.  Be patient!

    For the ACCESS2002 supplement, a Security Warning may pop up.  I believe this is because I do not buy an expensive certificate.  If you click OK, the sermons and illustrations will be added in, even though the warning may pop up several more times.
